Why use Flue Gas
Analysers?
Boiler manufacturers increasingly
recommend the use of a Flue
Gas Analyser (FGA) for servicing their appliances to ensure
optimum efficiency and running
costs. Badly maintained boilers
may also produce lethal amounts
of Carbon Monoxide. Failure
to perform these tests could result
in prosecution should boiler defects not be detected
and rectified.
Odourless and colourless, Carbon
Monoxide claims more lives every year. Authorities
are prosecuting untrained and ill-equipped service engineers
who leave boilers in dangerous conditions. Flame colour can
no longer be used as the sole measurement of boiler efficiency
and FGA’s should be used to complement existing techniques.
British Gas uses the Telegan
TGM100 for all of their service engineers – in total,
over 14,000 analysers have been supplied to them.
Telegan Sprint analysers are
proven to reduce service time &
costs, improving efficiency and profits
for all service teams.
All Telegan Sprint have a two
year limited warranty - including the sensors - with rechargeable
Ni-MH batteries as standard, savings £100’s
on running costs.
All Telegan Flue Gas Analysers
print combustion reports
for the client to sign, proving
that work was carried out to accepted standards.
